Our most important asset is trust.

The Rosenbaum Group is a family business that has its roots as a banking family in Hamburg. After the end of the First World War, Edmund Rosenbaum dared to start over and founded the bank Edmund Rosenbaum & Co. The bank was based at Neuer Wall 58, just a few hundred meters from Hamburg City Hall.

"Our most important asset is trust," was Rosenbaum's motto. Accordingly, he did everything to earn the trust of his customers. Hamburg's merchants knew:

Edmund Rosenbaum is true to his word. A handshake from him is worth as much as a contract.

In addition to his unconditional reliability, he also attached great importance to respectful, open and trusting cooperation. He made courageous decisions and liked to break new ground. "We can't just see what is. But also what can be,” Rosenbaum used to say when discussing innovative processes and ideas.

During World War II, Rosenbaum's thirst for action was thwarted by the Nazis, who Aryanized his bank. They were able to take away the financial business from the Rosenbaums, but not the soul of the company. And so the traditional values from then to now apply.

In the meantime, the Rosenbaum Group has specialized in real estate and is managed by the fourth generation. In doing so, we follow the philosophy that Edmund Rosenbaum formulated around 100 years ago: Our most important asset is trust. At that time like today.
